Google Teams Up With LIFE To Host Millions Of Photos

Google has teamed up with LIFE Magazine to showcase millions of LIFE’s acrhived photos. There are photos from every decade from 1860 to 1970.

It’s a very impressive archive with many classic and some unpublished photos. They photos are also categorised, so if you are looking for pictures of the 1930s oil boom, Abraham Lincoln or thanksgiving, they are there.

    Thanks for the information. It looks like a useful resource. I'm surprised that Google hasn't taken on the likes of Flickr in a serious way yet - it would be a good tie-in with their business. Maybe this is the start of something?
