Show Me Your Desktop, Wendy Piersall

General Nonsense

Last week I interviewed Everton Blair from Connected Internet. This week it’s Wendy Piersall from eMomsathomes’ turn.

Wendy has a really interesting site about succeeding in home, business and blogging. She has started several group projects where her readers help each other find solutions to things they always wanted to know.

Read on and find out which program Wendy really hates and which she is almost forced to love.

1. What is your background picture?

I attached it.

2. Why did you choose that picture?
I rotate the picture pretty frequently (1-2x a month). I always pick
something that will remind me of the most important things in life - family,
spirituality, my higher purpose, etc. I do that to help get myself
reconnected and centered throughout the day.

3. If you have a personal and a work computer, which program do you use the
most on your personal computer?

Just have my laptop.

4. Which program do you use the most on your work computer?
Outlook and Firefox - but if those don’t “count”, I’d have to say I use
Photoshop a surprisingly large amount of the time considering I’m not a

5. Internet Explorer or Firefox? (If you don’t use any of those, please
explain why and which)

Firefox - it’s faster, more flexible and more customizable. Once I started
I could never go back to IE

6. Why do you use Firefox?
See above

7. What is your favourite program?
I hate to admit it, but probably Outlook. I don’t really like the program
as much as I love how it keeps me organized.

8. Which program is the worst?
Microsoft Word - I HATE how it autoformats documents and makes it next to
impossible to either correct it or change it back.

9. Do you have any tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your
computer or blog?

Use a laptop so that you can work anywhere, and buy a good one so that you
can work instead of troubleshoot.

Next week I’ll ask Leo Babauta from zen habits to “Show Me Your Desktop, Leo Babauta”.

  • Brown Baron

Interesting interview. You can even call it “Desktops of the Rich and Famous” hehehe

  • Dennis Bjørn Petersen

hehe…maybe I should have called it that, you would have to feature in the series too then BB.

Or maybe it would have been a bit too corny.
