- My good friend Arpit Jacob has won the Sandbox Theme competition with his brilliant Sandpress Theme for Wordpress. He won by three points over the Moo-Point theme from Will Wilkins. He has already registered Sandpress.com and is working on getting a forum ready so he can support you.
- It looks like August is the 30-days-project-month. Darren Rowse is 31 Day to Building a Better Blog-project explains how to plan your next week’s blog posting schedule and he has collected a batch of reader blog tips.
- Mike Sansone from ConverStations taught me something new about eye rest on blog posts - unless the picture IS the story you should always place the picture to the right. Of course! Its logical, from now on expect to see the pictures to the right and give those eyes of yours a rest.
- Andy Beard talks about AdAge Power 150 I had no idea what it was until I read his post about it. It’s the Top 150 list of media and marketing blogs. It was through that list I learned about eye rest. With all the links Andy is giving away in that post I’m disappointed I wasn’t included. The next time he might be picked up by the Link Police

I actually did the extra linking out in the update after my original post as I wanted my content "out there"
The linking to Daniel was long overdue and his newest story was appropriate, plus links to his blogging and seo lists.
I tend to only do this from posts which I have invested some time in, and sometimes it gets links added in reciprocation or it helps fosters new relationships and readers.

Yes and you even mentioned it in your post and linked to your Linking Mistakes-post. I just couldn't help it. I had to tease you a bit :-) By the way I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that you will participate in my Show Me Your Desktop-series. I'm sure a lot of people would like a sneak peek of your desktop.

It's tough being the designer guru of the day ;) Good luck with Sandpress.com once you get it up and running.
