Blogging

I’ve decided to more www.petersen-inc.dk to another domain, well more specifically, I’m petersen-inc.dk is going back to the original intent/content.

Fear not my trusty readers – the great content of this site will be moved to the new domain – www.thebetanews.com. The new and improved site will feature more beta and start-up news. I will work on getting more invitations for those hungering to test beta Web 2.0 start-up applications.

I will kick start the new site with a very interesting new concept know as “What’s on your Desktop, *Blogger name*”. Everton Blair from www.connectedinternet.co.uk will be the first one. Great bloggers such as Wendy Piersall, David Airey and Arpit Jacob will follow.

The news doesn’t stop here. I’m secretly working on another project too. A blog featuring the latest news about a certain soccer/football game that will launch later this year. Stay tuned for more juicy details!

  • Thank you very much for the encouragement David and Wendy.

I'm still figuring out how to rebuild my traffic, let's see what happens over the next week. One thing is sure though, I'll write a post about my experiences.
  • Love the new name! Let us know how the move goes - I'm curious to hear how you rebuild with Technorati and Google, specifically.

    Good luck! :)
  • I'm looking forward to your 'desktop' series, Dennis. When you emailed me about it I thought it was a great idea to pull together content for your site.

Yes it really has. I hope to do the same on the new domain
  • I hope so too ;-) And I must say your Alexa rank really got boosted over the last couple of weeks
  • I used it for more personal stuff, I think the topics just came by themselves, but now I've decided what the main topic will be, so hopefully it will get even more visitors ;)
  • Can't wait for the new site ;-)

What did you use this domain for, before you started the blog ? (just curious) :)
