Off-Topic Friday Trekkies Everywhere Are Getting A Weird Feeling In Their Lower Region

Yes it’s true my friends. The teaser trailer for Star Trek was showed at the premiere of Cloverfield and already the discussion is heating up.

According to the brief teaser trailer it looks like the USS Enterprise is built on Earth. Die hard Trekkies claim that Enterprise was built on Mars in Utopia Planetia. So watch out if you are reading Trekkie-blogs. Flaming is coming and it won’t be pretty .

A photo of the USS Enterprise has been released too.

UPDATE: I found the teaser trailer on YouTube. The quality isn’t the best, but you get a good impression. The official trailers is released on Monday. Read on to see the trailer.

The teaser combines early NASA and JFK talk along with the classic Star Trek theme and Leonard Nimoy saying: “Space the final frontier”. I’m pretty sure most Trekkies, including yours truly, will have goosebumps at this time already.

It seems JJ Abrams is launching Star Trek under the slogan: The Future Begins”.
