I’ve found some threads that might help you improve your Joost performance.
- This is the way your Cable internet should be set up.
- How to change Joost network settings.Windows and Mac OS X.
- How to move your profile and cache folder(anthill folder) to a different Hard drive.Windows
- How to have More than 1 profile for Joost on 1 computer. Windows only read if you have a Mac maybe you can find out how to in Mac OS X then post how you did it.
- How to make Widgets work in Window Mode.
Windows - (Mac OS X it’s near the bottom of this post.)
- Check here for my Router Settings. It’s above my first screenshot.
- How to add Navigational arrows to main News Ticker window. Windows
- How to make sure you IDE/ATA hard drive is running in DMA and a fix if it isn’t. Window(Not Vista)
- Make sure Hardware Acceleration is set to full. Windows
- Update your network settings
Please let me know if I missed any thing.
What did you think of Joost by the way? Did it impress you or are you disappointed? How about the chose of channels? Did you expect more?
Update: I’ve added one more tweak to the Top10 making it Top11 instead
