The firmware for Linksys’ KISS DP-600 HD DVD-player is delayed yet again.
Everyone expected it to be released around June 30th. Nothing has happened in a week now.
Several people have asked the Linksys support for a date. Most of them had a chat similar to the one below. I’m afraid this is the closest we get to an official KNAS firmware release statement:

Sean (33679): Bye.
Let’s see what happens next week. If the firmware is bugged I’m not interested in upgrading.
Which DVD-player are you using? Blu-Ray or HD? KISS DP-1600 or Netgear EVA 8000? Or maybe something entirely different?
I’ve heard the HD-player for the Xbox360 is pretty lousy. I was very close to buying one.
